This Privacy Policy explains how Creator Value Index (“CVI”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, dashboards, calculators, APIs, and related services (the “Services”).

1) Information We Collect

• Account Data: Email, password (hashed), plan tier, billing metadata (handled by our payment provider), and preferences (e.g., notifications, 2FA).
• Usage Data: Actions in the dashboard (e.g., runs, exports, restores), device and log data (e.g., IP address, browser type), and event timestamps.
• Report Data: Channels you analyze and the resulting scores/insights saved to your account for display in your dashboard and exports.
• Enterprise Integrations (optional): Webhook/Slack endpoints and related metadata you configure.
• Cookies & Analytics: We may use cookies and analytics to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

2) How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including calculators, dashboards, exports).
• Display your reports in your account and enable exports (CSV, Excel, Google Sheets).
• Send operational communications (e.g., “report ready” emails) subject to batching and rate limits.
• Secure accounts and support 2FA, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3) Reports vs. Anonymized Channel Database

• User Reports (Private): Each report you run is tied to your account and visible in your dashboard. Reports expire after 6 months, then move to Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion.
• Anonymized Channel Insights (Separate): To enhance performance and benchmarking, we store channel-level insights (channel identifier/URL, CVI score, CQI score, sentiment, timestamp) in a distinct, anonymized database that does not contain user identifiers or link any channel analysis to a specific user.

4) Access and Sharing

• Internal Access: Limited to authorized personnel and solely for operating the Services, resolving support issues, ensuring security, or complying with law.
• No Sale of Reports: We do not sell your report data.
• Service Providers: We may share limited data with vendors (e.g., hosting, email, payments) under contracts that protect your information.
• Legal: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect CVI, our users, or others.

5) Security

• Industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords.
• Optional two-factor authentication (email code or authenticator app) to protect account access.
• Access controls and logging for administrative actions.

6) Data Retention

• Reports: 6 months active, then 30-day Trash window, then deletion.
• Anonymized Channel Insights: Retained to support benchmarks, caching, and product improvement, without user linkage.
• Audit/Operational Logs: Retained for a reasonable period for security and compliance.

7) Your Choices & Controls

• Exports: You can export report data to CSV/Excel/Sheets (no user PII in the export files).
• Notifications: You can adjust notification preferences. We apply batching/digests and hourly caps to limit email volume.
• 2FA: You can enable/disable 2FA in settings.
• Deletion: You can move reports to Trash at any time and restore within 30 days.

8) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.

9) International Transfers

Your information may be processed where CVI or its service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by law.

10) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes indicates your acceptance.
